COFFRET D'OR Rouge Essence
I received this lipstick as a PR sample in May and I got very excited because I always wanted to try Japanese lipsticks but they are pretty pricey and I didn't have a chance to try them. This lipstick is supposed to stay on your lips for 6 hours with shine as if you just applied it. I thought that's amazing if that is true because I usually don't have time to check myself in a mirror and reapply a lipstick.
This colour is PK-278 which is in the new collection that just came out. It's such a pretty pink with a little bit of beige and coral undertone.
It makes my lips look so glossy! It feels like I applied lip gloss on top. It feels smooth and hydrated which makes it super comfortable to wear. And it's such a long-wearing lipstick which stays on my lips for hours and hours! I haven't timed yet so I'm not sure but it might really stays for 6 hours. The other day I applied it after lunch which was 4-5pm and it was still on my lips when I removed my makeup at home at 12pm or so.
I absolutely love this lipstick just because it stays on my lips for so long, and super hydrating formula and the glossy look it gives are just amazing. Now I want to try other colours from Rouge Essence...2500yen for a lipstick is ridiculous though! But I can tell you that most of Japanese products are pretty good. Pricey but good.
